McCleery Golf in Details

McCleery Golf Course was established in 1959 on a property originally belonging to the McCleery family – the first settlers of British Columbia. As such, it enjoys a perfect location right at the south-western edge of Vancouver. The convenient position outweighs the lack of additional sporting facilities within the area of this public Course. The 18-hole par 72 course was re-designed in 1996 and has been serving the residents of Vancouver again since.

McCleery Golf Course has gently sloped fairways with many water hazards. For those who want to practice their swing there is a modern driving range and practice putting greens. At McCleery, you can make use of their learning academy and thus improve your game with the guidance of CPGA professionals.

The course only allows soft spikes on its fairways and practice areas.

This golf course is administered by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. Therefore, its sister golf courses are Fraserview Golf Course and Langara Golf Course. Pitch and Putt golf courses administered by the VBPR are Rupert Park Pitch and Putt, Stanley Park Pitch and Putt, and Queen Elizabeth Park Pitch and Putt.

The golf course has an associated club called McCleery Men’s Club.
