This 9-foot bronze statue represents Vancouver born Canadian track and field runner Harry Winston Jerome (1940 – 1982), known for setting a total seven world records. he was Olympic representative for Canada in 1960, 1964 and 1968, winning bronze in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics; taking gold in the 1967 Pan-American Games.
