Just one of the Stanley Park's notable statues, The Girl in a Wetsuit is sitting poised atop a rock and staring out into the Ocean since 1972. Elek Imredy's life-size statue is often compared to Copenhagen's Little Mermaid, but the artist stated that the famous Danish piece was not his inspiration.
