While most of us are not on holidays yet - the season has certainly begun - and it's time to start thinking about Christmas shopping. Anyone on your list want a home?
The markets are heading on holidays as well. As is typical for this time of year, the markets relax, and the listings, as well as the sales go down. However, the market is still strong - incremental gains in most benchmark prices show that property in Vancouver is still highly sought-after.
REBGV President Ray Harris noted "It's been a more active fall than we typically see in the Metro Vancouver housing market. Home prices across the region have experienced steady gains in 2014." He also reminds us that "this is traditionally a low inventory time of year, so it's a good time to list your home for sale if you want to face less competition in the marketplace."
