In 2008, 2009 and 2010 I set new records for the most ascents of the Grouse Grind in a single day. Originally, it was a personal challenge but in 2009 and 2010 it was a very public goal becoming the biggest news story in BC (and even receiving some national press coverage).
My purpose was to raise as much money and awareness for the RLP Shelter Foundation while I put myself through an intense physical and mental challenge. You can read a bit about my Grouse Grind Marathon records here, but I have also curated some of the media attention from the past few years below:
